Right at this moment, I’m drinking a single origin, dry processed Ethiopian Sidamo coffee. I roasted it about a day ago, and it’s so fantastic that I don’t want to write about anything else at the moment. So what’s with the fancy schmancy long name? What does it mean? Maybe this will help you interpret other long coffee names you see.
Single Origin
So a blend is a combination of different single origin beans. So if you buy a single origin bag of beans, those beans came from the same crop from the same region, from the same farm. Drinking coffee from one single origin of beans is similar to wine in that, next years crop from the same farm will taste different, depending on the weather conditions etc.
Dry Processed
